OUR WORK

Plastic Collection from Households

We organize regular plastic collection drives targeting residential neighborhoods in Kampala. By engaging directly with households, we make it easier for communities to responsibly dispose of plastic waste. This not only reduces environmental pollution but also supplies raw material for recycling, creating a circular economy at the grassroots level.

Education & Awareness Sessions

We conduct interactive education and awareness sessions in schools, community centers, and local events to help people understand the impact of plastic waste and the importance of sustainable practices. These sessions empower citizens especially youth with knowledge and tools to make informed environmental choices and become active changemakers in their communities.

Recycling for the SDGs

Our recycling efforts directly support several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including climate action, sustainable cities, and responsible consumption. By turning plastic waste into reusable materials, we promote a greener economy, reduce landfill usage, and create local job opportunities, advancing both environmental and social development.

Green Kampala Program

The Green Kampala Program is our flagship initiative focused on transforming Kampala into a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable city. It brings together community members, local leaders, and partners to promote eco-friendly urban practices from waste management to urban gardening all while building a culture of sustainability across the city.
